Job description

About the Role:

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing commercial HVAC projects utilizing Samsung equipment from pre-sales and design support through installation, commissioning, and project closeout. The position will also focus on developing and managing strategic foreign HVAC accounts, FDI projects, and key industrial projects. Also, will responsible for One Samsung (Integrated Samsung product & solution) projects with key strategic accounts, collaboration with Samsung Electronics America and Samsung Korea team.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in the HVAC or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, applications, and field engineering.
  • Ability to read and review mechanical drawings, specifications, equipment schedules, and construction documents.
  • Strong project management, technical communication, and customer-facing skills.
  • Experience working with consulting engineers, contractors, and commercial/industrial project stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of project management experience in the HVAC or construction industry.
  • Experience working in a matrix or cross-functional team environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage foreign HVAC accounts, including FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) projects, and identify opportunities to expand Samsung HVAC business.
  • Develop and manage strategic commercial HVAC projects, with a primary focus on factory and industrial projects, providing technical evaluation and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with consulting engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders on HVAC application design, equipment selection, system configuration, and technical requirements.
  • Manage projects from One Samsung opportunities with all Samsung products and solutions. This is required collaboration with Samsung Electronics America and Samsung Korea team.
  • Manage projects from pre-sales through completion, including schedules, milestones, technical deliverables, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Coordinate submittals, RFIs, specifications, certifications, regulatory/compliance documents, and other project-specific technical requirements.
  • Coordinate technical support during installation, start-up, and commissioning and ensure technical issues are properly resolved.

The required skills for this role include strong full lifecycle project management experience, with the ability to manage projects from pre-sales design support through final closeout while overseeing scope, milestones, and deliverables. Strong schedule and resource management skills are needed to develop project timelines, track milestones, coordinate subcontractor work, and address potential delays. The role also requires strong technical documentation skills to manage submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), technical specifications, and compliance documents accurately. Excellent cross-functional coordination skills are essential for working effectively with engineering, technical service, sales teams, subcontractors, customers, and other stakeholders throughout each project.
