Job description

Direct client – PMP Project Manager

Location: Columbus, OH - will be primarily onsite, with the option to work remotely one day each week

Coordinate and manage multiple IT projects across the agency, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

- Gather and document project requirements from stakeholders, including internal teams and third-party vendors.

- Schedule and facilitate project meetings, providing clear agendas and follow-up communications to keep all participants informed and engaged.

- Track project progress, proactively addressing potential delays and following up with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.

- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, timelines, and deliverables.

- Assist in developing Requests for Information(RFI), Requests for Qualifications (RFQ), and Requests for Proposals (RFP) as needed for project procurement.

- Keep project data and updates current within the Monday project management platform, ensuring transparency and accessibility for all stakeholders.

- ‎Work with other members of project management team, including project managers, process improvement specialist, and business analyst to ensure proper resource alignment across all agency projects, andassist lead project portfolio manager with ensuring project information is readily available to be reported out to CIO and executive leadership.

Required Skills:

  • Project Management Experience Required 6 Years
  • Experience in developing web technologies and software platforms for maximum usability Required

• Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 Required
