Overview:
One of our premier clients is looking for a PMP Certified Project Manager in Indianapolis, IN (HYBRID) for a contract position. (3) Your email address.**RESPONSIBILITIES:**โ€ข Increase speed-to-delivery for projects, with adherence to budget and requirements standards.โ€ข Ensure that projects have defined goals and expectations and that project deliverables execute to the state goals and expectations.โ€ข Reduce "surprises" by identifying potential risks and issues at an early project stage and continue to refresh throughout project execution.โ€ข Increase communication, relationships and alignment with internal teams and the occasional external State partner.โ€ข Maintain constant focus on projects' visions and objectives.โ€ข Responsible for relationship management, project planning, resource management, tactical execution, and the creation and / or oversight of final project deliverables.โ€ข Collaborate with senior management, stakeholders, and the team to meet business objectives and provide professional leadership & mentorship fostering respect and trust to inspire others to pursue excellence.โ€ข Review, revise, and implement policies, practices, standards, and tools that support CTO project efforts.โ€ข Work directly with senior managers and staff supporting all facets of IOT's service delivery.โ€ข Manage staff and teams, as needed
**REQUIRED SKILLS:**โ€ข Experience as a strategic planner, program / portfolio manager, or project managerโ€ข PMP Certifiedโ€ข Experience with technology projects using various development methodologies, including agile and waterfall SDLCs.โ€ข Extensive experience overseeing multiple projects to successful conclusionโ€ข Experience managing projects of relative high complexity and dollar valueโ€ข Experience developing, monitoring, and maintaining project plansโ€ข Ability to maintain tact, diplomacy, and mindfulness in engagement with highly visible and highly demanding stakeholders at a variety of levelsโ€ข Creative, Strategic team playerโ€ข Ability to handle multiple high-visibility, high-priority initiatives effectively, independently, and under competing constraintsโ€ข Exceptional professional presence, including the strong ability to communicate publicly to a variety of audiencesโ€ข Ability to establish and manage project budget with the understanding of all financial implications/issuesโ€ข Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are metโ€ข Ability to delegate work, set clear direction, and manage workflowโ€ข Ability to effectively give feedback, provide guidance or corrective action, coach, and develop employee skillsetsโ€ข Degree in information technology, business, finance, or a related field
