Finning is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technology & Solution Delivery Lead to play a pivotal role in one of the company's most significant enterprise transformation initiatives. This is an opportunity to influence the future-state architecture, delivery strategy, and operational readiness of Dynamics 365 solutions across Finning's global business operations in Canada, UK & Ireland, and South America.
As the D365 Technology Lead, you will serve as the technical authority for Dynamics 365 delivery, partnering closely with Product Owners, Functional Leads, Microsoft, strategic Systems Integrator (SI) partners, and enterprise technology teams to ensure solutions are scalable, supportable, and aligned to business objectives. This role is initially focused on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM), including Sales and Marketing capabilities, with opportunities to support future platform expansion.
This role combines elements of solution architecture, technical leadership, delivery assurance, and operational readiness, making it ideal for a professional who enjoys bridging strategy and execution while driving business value through technology. Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience delivering Dynamics 365 solutions and working alongside implementation partners in complex enterprise environments.

For this position, the expected base salary range is between $120,000 and $140,000 annually with an additional performance bonus over the base salary. Education &Experience Required:

  • 8-12+ years of experience in enterprise technology delivery, solution oversight, or technical leadership roles.

  • Hands-on experience delivering Dynamics 365 solutions strongly preferred; alternatively,significant experiencedelivering comparable enterprise SaaS platforms with proven ability to transfer knowledge quickly.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise SaaSplatforms (e.g., D365, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow) in complex environments; preference for hands-on D365 transition and deployment experience.

  • Experience working in multi-vendor and multi-region environments preferred.

  • Combination of technical and functional exposure strongly preferred.

  • Strong experience with Dynamics 365 and Dataverse platform capabilities preferred.

  • Understanding of D365 (preferred) or equivalent SaaS platform architecture and delivery models.

  • Knowledge of solution delivery lifecycles (e.g., Microsoft Success by Design: Discover, Design, Build, Test, Deploy,Operate) and project management best practices.

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform certifications strongly preferred (Power Platform Solution Architect Expert desirable; Functional Consultant Associate preferred).

  • Solid understanding of integration patterns, APIs, middleware, data flows, monitoring, and error handling in enterprise environments.

  • Basic service management concepts, including support models, readiness, SLAs, and transition to operations.

  • Understanding of governance and decision-making frameworks, including design decisions, trade-offs, and risk management.

  • Ability to bridge technical and functional domains by translating business requirements into practical, supportable solutions.

  • Experience working with Systems Integrators (SIs) in large-scale implementations.

  • Ability toidentifyand mitigate technical and delivery risks early.

  • Strong communicationand stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business audiences.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
