Solar Operations Coordinator

Job Description 
SunFire Construction is looking for a Solar Operations Coordinator who is self-motivating, problem-solving and has excellent communication skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

 • This is not a remote position* 
 • Pay is based on experience 

Responsibilities include: 
- Review, prepare, submit, and receive permits from authorities having jurisdictions that Sunfire is operating in in accordance with jurisdictional requirements.
- Utilize software systems (Podio/Google Docs) for project updates to record progress of various tasks and stages of the project's process.
- Ensure all permits with the city, county, and HOA are submitted within 24 hours of receiving Plans/Calcs from the engineering team.
- Coordinate with Design and Engineering teams to execute AHJ corrections and resolve any issues.
- Monitor daily solar installation schedule, job progress, paperwork & necessary pictures to book and complete installs.
-Submit Meter Spots with the utility company.
- Monitor and order supplies for installation in advance as needed.
- Manage coordinator communication w/ B2B Relationships ( EnFin, Palmetto, etc.)
- Report the status of all installations to management and customers on a regular basis. Report any situations that require management attention immediately. 
- Ensure installations are in accordance with partners’ guidelines and applicable codes. 
- Identify installation and construction errors through continuous monitoring of the QC process. 
- In compliance with finance banks, all documents are submitted for the installation process. 
- Create projected schedules while taking into consideration future weather forecasts. 
- Always utilize safe and efficient work methods. 
- Reports daily production and findings to Management 
- Performs other duties as assigned.


This individual must possess self-confidence, drive, enthusiasm, and a sense of responsibility. • Ability to discuss strategic and sensitive issues in a confidential manner. • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Preferred Requirements: • Minimum 1-2 years of PV Solar knowledge and experience • Minimum 1-2 years of general Construction knowledge and experience* Bilingual is required
