Job description

Responsible for all facets of PV projects and Battery Back-up installations. Candidate will be Managing a team of installers, leading the installation, and project commissioning. The Project Lead is responsible for overall project implementation, crew safety and maximized productivity, coordination with Project Manager/Designer, and all project tracking including safety documentation, installation time, inventory reconciliation, and installation/safety photos.
REQUIREMENTS: No DUI in past 5 years 2 Years of previous experience as a foreman or crew leader installing PV. Able to do residential service change. NABCEP Certified preferred OSHA-10 and CPR preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee safety of crew members and job site Install high quality solar PV installations based on system design specifications Lead and train crews in all facets of PV project implementation Ensure install resources are optimally utilized Problem solve system layouts when design specifications require adjustment Ensure all necessary materials, tools, and equipment arrive to the job site Deliver installation documentation in a timely manner Responsible for tool management and proper maintenance of vehicles. Must be able to work over-time when needed
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Experience with all facets of PV installation, Battery Back-up knowledge. Strong understanding of solar PV installation, design and able to lift 75lbs, climb ladders, work with tools, and work on roof tops in varying temperatures. Ability to problem-solve in the field and implement site-specific design modifications Excellent teamwork skills -- ability to foster a positive team environment through collaborative decision making General construction knowledge and ability to interpret basic electrical and structural plans and field layouts Highly organized with demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities Effectively coordinate and communicate with Project Manager/Designer, Warehouse Manager, and Operations Manager Ability to succeed in a fast paced, community environment Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization Proficient with computers and the following applications: Microsoft Word and Excel
Candidate must have 2 years experience in the Solar PV industry.
