Job Description

We are currently looking for an Entry Level Laboratory Technician for the Construction Materials Testing Lab.

Candidateโ€™s responsibilities to perform laboratory tests related to Concrete, Soil, Asphalt, Masonry, and other construction materials in accordance with applicable testing standards/methods.

  • Performing a variety of laboratory standardized tests on soils and construction materials using established methods laboratory testing tasks.
  • Report results of testing as per ASTM requirements.
  • Perform Laboratory maintenance.
  • Perform maintenance and verifications of laboratory testing equipment.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have technical knowledge/understanding and desire to learn technical skills.ย  Training will be provided.ย  Candidate will be expected to obtain ACI Lab Concrete Testing Certifications within 6 months of hiring.

Strong mathematic skills.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
