About the Role

THIS IS A FULLY ONSITE ROLE SUPPORTING EVENTS IN BOSTON, CHICAGO, CLEVELAND, CINCINNATI, DETROIT, INDIANAPOLIS, PHILADELPHIA, NEW YORK CITY, RICHMOND, VIRGINIA BEACH AND SURROUNDING AREAS. NOT A REMOTE ROLE. CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCATED IN OR NEAR ONE OF THESE AREAS FOR CONSIDERATION.

About the Role:

OneCause, a Bonterra Company, is committed to helping cause-driven organizations amplify their message and raise more funds with easy-to-use fundraising solutions. First to market as BidPal in 2007 with revolutionary mobile bidding, our solutions now power online giving, event management, mobile bidding, and peer-to-peer fundraising for nonprofit organizations of all sizes.

This is a part-time, seasonal position supporting our clients during on-site events. The location of events varies.

On-site Expectations:

  • You must be able to travel within a 125-mile radius of your home market.

  • On-site attendance for events lasting 10-12 hours, with the physical ability to stand and move for extended periods.

  • Scheduling flexibility

Responsibilities:

  • Support the successful execution of customer events through on-site management of OneCause technology

  • Manage OneCause staff including Assistant Event Managers and Onsite Support Staff

  • Setup and manage the OneCause technology including OneCause proprietary software, laptops, and iPads

  • Manage and resolve all OneCause-related client expectations

  • Provide on-site software training to the client, client's staff, volunteers, and guests

  • Review all client auction and guest data and make appropriate changes where necessary

  • Work with client to ensure software is fully utilized to maximize event revenue by providing recommendations that follow best practices

  • Able to comfortably navigate and troubleshoot our software

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of in-person customer service experience

  • Experience with web-based software and basic knowledge of setting up and troubleshooting

  • Comfortable using intuitive web-based software as well as smartphone technology (iPhone and Android)
    hardware (iPads/laptops/smartphones)

  • Exceptional communication skills, not limited to but including written, interpersonal, and public speaking.

  • Highly organized with the ability to meet multiple concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • High level of initiative

  • Event, non-profit, or fundraising experience
