Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 / year


Description

Summary Brivo, a global leader in cloud-based physical security solutions, is looking for an Area Account Manager (AAM) to drive growth in our Northern Washington territory. The AAM is a critical outside sales role responsible for driving new business development and establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers (President, VP of Sales, Sales Manager, Sales and Operations staff) within the Pacific Northwest territory. Under the guidance of the Sr. Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and Regional Sales Director (RSD), the AAM will manage the entire sales process from prospecting through close. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Brivo's comprehensive portfolio of solutions, as well as a general understanding of integrated components and systems such as Multifamily applications, Visitor Management, Elevator Control, IP video, and wireless locks.


Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned territory; prospect, onboard, cultivate, and grow new dealers

  • Maintain good communication, both verbal and written, with inside and field resources to facilitate sales growth in Brivoโ€™s independent and national dealer channels

  • Build understanding of the Brivo security platform, including supported devices and integrations, and effectively demonstrate the capabilities to prospects

  • Respond to customer requests for information promptly

  • Provide system sales and product training for system integrators

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and update Salesforce.com CRM with all relevant information


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably within the security industry, SaaS, software sales, or information security, with experience selling in a defined territory

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree and/or directly related sales experience

  • Proven direct channel field sales experience (this is not an overlay or inside sales position)

  • Demonstrated track record of prospecting, qualifying, recruiting, and supporting new dealer opportunities

  • Exhibit self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm in a professional manner

  • Present ideas, expectations, and information concisely and in a well-organized way

  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas

  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce), Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.), and other business and AI tools

  • Resides in the assigned territory, preferably in Snohomish, Skagit, or Whatcom county, as well as travel to industry trade shows, customer events, and internal meetings

The base salary for this full-time role ranges from $75,000 to $80,000, with total on-target earnings (OTE) of $115,000 to $120,000 USD. Individual compensation packages are based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, training, and market conditions.
