Job description

About ChapsVision
We are building the world's leading Enterprise Agentic AI platform that empowers companies to deploy intelligent search, AI assistants, and AI agents grounded in trusted internal knowledge. We deliver on our vision: A modern workplace where people use natural language queries to securely search, generate accurate answers, and build and deploy agents, regardless of the underlying data silos or applications.
We partner with some of the largest organizations in the world to change the way they use information and deploy secure and trusted agentic AI at scale.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Presales Engineering Intern to join our growing North American Presales team. This is a hands-on internship designed for someone who loves building, experimenting with AI, and solving real-world technical challenges.
Rather than working on theoretical projects, you'll help create realistic customer demonstration environments for manufacturing and life sciences organizations, develop production-quality synthetic datasets, and build AI-powered internal tools that improve how our Solutions Engineering team works.
You'll work closely with an experienced Presales Engineer and have the opportunity to own meaningful technical projects from day one. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ambiguity, enjoys rapid experimentation, and uses AI as a core part of how they build and learn.
Key Responsibilities
Demo Environment & Synthetic Data
  • Build and maintain demo environments for manufacturing and life sciences scenarios that showcase ChapsVision's AI platform

  • Generate production-quality synthetic datasets that reflect real business processes while preserving data privacy

  • Design realistic demo workflows and continuously improve them based on feedback, customer use cases, and new product capabilities.

AI Workflow Automation
  • Build internal tools, scripts, and lightweight apps using Claude Code and modern AI tech to automate repetitive Presales Engineering tasks

  • Turn loosely defined ideas into practical solutions with minimal oversight

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Programming experience in Python, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages.

  • Experience building personal, academic, or open-source projects using AI, LLMs, or autonomous agents.

  • Comfortable using AI development tools such as Claude Code.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently research and implement solutions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Curious, self-motivated, and excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Who You Are
We're less interested in what classes you've taken and more interested in what you've built.
The ideal candidate is:
  • AI-native: You naturally use AI to accelerate your work and have independently experimented with LLMs, AI agents, or automation tools.

  • Autonomous: You can take an ambiguous problem, break it down, and deliver a working solution with minimal guidance.

  • Curious: You enjoy learning new technologies and continuously experimenting.

Why Join Us?
  • Work directly with experienced Presales Engineers on real customer-facing projects.

  • Gain hands-on experience building enterprise AI demonstrations used by global customers.

  • Contribute to meaningful technical projects with real business impact

  • Collaborative and fast-growing environment with mentorship
