Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring high availability and reliability of all systems

  • Manage the department budget, including forecasting and cost control

  • Conduct routine evaluations of network and data security, implementing necessary updates or protections

  • Update, maintain, and enhance software and hardware systems across the casino

  • Develop, implement, and enforce IT policies, best practices, internal controls, and compliance procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal gaming laws

  • Perform routine system audits and ensure data archiving and logging practices meet NGCB regulations

  • Create and manage comprehensive maintenance schedules for servers, networking equipment, and end-user devices

  • Collaborate closely with department heads to support business growth, system expansions, and evolving technical needs

  • Provide technical assistance to Surveillance, including support for camera systems and video management software

  • Manage vendor relationships, licensing, and service-level agreements for all critical systems

  • Lead and develop IT staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT management within a regulated casino environment

  • Hands-on experience with gaming systems such as IGT, Konami, Aristocrat, or Scientific Games

  • Deep understanding of NGCB regulations and IT compliance standards

  • Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, server administration, and system auditing

  • Experience with surveillance systems and VMS platforms is preferred

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
