Primary Objective
Manage bank and credit union partnerships by leading partner onboarding (client onboarding) and implementation (launch/go-live/activation), delivering training and enablement, and driving payments/merchant services growth through ongoing relationship management and production reporting.


Position Summary
The Partnerships & Implementation Manager – Financial Institutions is responsible for partner management and partner success across onboarding (client onboarding), implementation (launch/go-live/activation), training/enablement, and ongoing portfolio growth for community banks and credit unions in Evolv’s financial institution channel.

For new institutions—generally under 15 branches and/or less than $1 billion in assets—the Partnerships & Implementation Manager will be responsible for the business development functions of recruiting and contract negotiation.


This position blends relationship management, implementation oversight, training, business development and strategic account support. The Partnerships & Implementation Manager will serve as the operational quarterback for assigned financial institution partners, ensuring successful launches, banker engagement, ongoing production growth, and long-term relationship health.


This role is ideal for someone who thrives in relationship-driven environments, understands community banking culture, and can balance implementation detail with sales and growth support.


Core Responsibilities

Financial Institution Partner Management (Relationship/Account Management)

  • The Partnerships & Implementation Manager will support recruitment and onboarding of community banks and credit unions in partnership with senior DSP leadership
  • Manage portfolios and day-to-day relationships with assigned institutions and serve as the primary point of contact post-signature
  • Conduct recurring relationship reviews, production check-ins, and growth planning meetings with bank leadership and branch teams
  • Develop strong relationships with branch managers, commercial bankers, treasury management officers, and small business teams
  • Support referral generation and banker engagement through proactive communication and field support
  • Stewardship of the growth and profitability of the Tier II segment.


Partner Onboarding & Implementation (Launch / Go-Live)

  • Project management, lead implementation and onboarding process for new financial institution partners
  • Coordinate kickoff calls, onboarding meetings, training schedules, MAC setup, and partner activation
  • The Partnerships & Implementation Manager will manage co-branded marketing requests, referral portal setup, onboarding workflows and cross-functional coordination across internal departments
  • Coordinate branch training schedules and deliver training sessions as needed
  • Ensure all implementation milestones are completed efficiently and professionally
  • Conduct post-implementation review calls to ensure successful launch and partner satisfaction


Training & Enablement (Banker Enablement / Sales Enablement)

The Partnerships & Implementation Manager will train financial institution personnel on Evolv’s business solutions, including:

    • Merchant processing
    • Dual pricing
    • ACH and payment tools
    • Payroll services
    • Accounting and bookkeeping services
    • Digital marketing solutions through VIV
  • Help financial institutions position Evolv’s bundled offering as a high-value commercial banking solution for SMB customers and credit union members
  • Assist bankers with referral conversations, opportunity identification, and merchant engagement strategies
  • Coordinate ongoing product education and rollout training for new solutions


Operational Support & Reporting

  • Utilize MAC (Merchant Application Center) to track onboarding progress, partner activity, merchant referrals, and KPI reporting
  • Coordinate with operations, underwriting, accounting, marketing, and implementation teams to support partner needs
  • Assist with residual reporting explanations and partner commission inquiries
  • Identify and resolve implementation or operational issues in partnership with internal teams
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation and implementation record


Compensation Structure
Compensation structure is flexible and may include a combination of:

  • Base salary (70-80k Based on Experience)
  • Production-based bonus
  • Residual participation
  • Implementation incentives
  • Relationship growth incentives
  • First year On Target Earning opportunity 90-100k (Base Salary + Bonus and Residual)

Final structure will be based on experience, production expectations, and territory responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in banking, merchant services, relationship management, treasury management, fintech, or business banking support
  • Experience working with community banks and/or credit unions strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously
  • Comfortable conducting presentations and training sessions both virtually and in person
  • Familiarity with merchant services, payroll, accounting solutions, or small business banking products preferred
  • Experience with CRM systems and onboarding workflows preferred
  • Ability to travel regionally for partner meetings and branch training
