Job description

Position Summary

The Customer Solutions Specialist works directly with customers and internal team members to support software implementations, answer questions, coordinate project tasks, and develop training materials.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, technically curious, and enjoys solving problems. It offers a unique opportunity to learn project management, customer success, software implementation, and the fundamentals of how enterprise software is delivered to nonprofit and government organizations.

The long-term goal of this role is to develop into a leadership position within customer success, implementation, sales, or software development.

Purpose of the Role

To ensure customers receive exceptional service and support throughout their implementation and ongoing use of FAMCare by:

  • Responding to customer inquiries and solving problems
  • Coordinating project deliverables and documentation
  • Assisting with software configuration and testing
  • Developing training materials and guides
  • Supporting successful customer adoption

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and task tracking
  • Take meeting notes and track follow-up items
  • Assign tasks to appropriate team members
  • Assist with software implementation and configuration
  • Perform minor form and layout changes (adding fields, updating labels, modifying screen layouts)
  • Test system enhancements and document findings
  • Develop and maintain customer training materials
  • Assist with customer onboarding and training sessions
  • Collaborate with implementation, support, operations, and development teams
  • Help improve internal processes and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
