We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Enterprise Conversion Solutions team. This team provides high-end data solutions for our financial institution clients by converting high-risk secure financial data from our proprietary systems into other formats. Project Managers work with other members of the ECS team including Programmers, Vendors and Support Representatives to successfully complete data conversion projects.
The Technical Project Manager position is responsible for planning, organizing, executing, and managing all aspects tied to a conversion. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated and aware of client needs, company goals, and employee coordination to bring a conversion to completion. Responsibilities include but are not limited to sitting on Pre-Contract Sales call, post contract to understand expectations, conducting scoping calls, creating project plans, Driving project timelines, customer update calls, updating all project Share Point entries, and communicating that plan clearly and precisely to all internal and external resources. These resources could range from Customers, Sales, Programmers, Vendors, Project Managers, Consultants and internal ECS Installation team members. Our Technical Project Managers are responsible for the full logistics for each data conversion and handles review of discovery source system analysis to ensure all pertinent items are accounted for.
The salary range for this position is $65,900- $82,400 depending on location and experience.
This position will be hired in a hybrid capacity out of our Springfield, MO. location.
You must be able to come onsite at least 4 times per month for in office meetings or events. The remainder of the time, you are able to work remotely from home.
What you'll be responsible for:
  • Responsible for researching any expectations, other comp product installation dates and activities.
  • Responsible for producing and communicating project plan with all appropriate parties.
  • Responsible for hosting scoping, kickoff, and status calls with our customers, JHA Product Groups, 3rd Party Groups, and JHA Corporate groups as needed.
  • Escalation point and responsible for issue tracking and escalation
  • Responsible for project organization, oversight and tracking according to the department project management framework and overall project management best practices.
  • Manage Multiple projects at one time with little oversight. Keep detailed notes on all projects.

What you'll need to have:
  • Minimum of 4 years of combined experience in data conversions, project management within the financial industry.
  • Must be able to travel up to 5% for additional training at one of our Jack Henry office locations.
  • Must have experience working in with Microsoft Office applications with focus working in Excel.

What would be nice for you to have:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • PMP Certified.
  • Experience with MS SharePoint.
  • Experience in any of the following categories is preferred: project coordination, project management and or software implementation.
  • Professional and or Educational experience using any of the following is preferred: MS Project, MS Excel using (pivot tables, look-ups, formulas).
  • Experience working with general Windows networking.
  • Entry to Moderate experience with SQL databases.
  • Entry to Moderate understanding of Virtual Environments.
  • Knowledge of Jack Henry products and services.
