The Work
The SAP Project Systems (PS) Lead is responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP PS solutions to support the organization's project management and financial processes. This role serves as the subject matter expert for SAP PS and acts as the liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team to ensure optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead efforts to gather requirements and design solutions to meet Business process designs requirements
  • Work with technical counterparts to ensure technical solutions meet all functional requirements
  • Business process design and system analysis
  • Coordinate and manage across architects, developers, technical services (i.e. BASIS, Middleware, Portal) and business analysts to perform business analyst functions and responsibilities
  • Maintenance, enhancement and/or development of SAP modules, including interfacing with other applications
  • Develop test strategies and manage large complex test efforts
  • Facilitate design review meetings; document and submit meeting minutes
  • Provide guidance and support for configuration changes, training material development, and data conversion
  • Support unit, integration, and UAT testing; provide documentation as evidence of successful execution
  • Support production cutover; provide documentation as evidence of successful execution
  • Support post-go-live hypercare, manage defects, and maintain documentation

Here's what you need:
  • 7 + years of SAP Project Systems experience
  • S/4HANA implementation experience
  • Integration experience with cross-process teams, CO, FI, MM, SD and PP
  • Proficiency in SAP PMMO, Project Systems (focus on logistics side), WBS-based planning, and Networks with MRP
  • Aerospace & Defense or U.S. Federal manufacturing/MRO project experience
  • Team lead experience

Nice to have:
  • Experienced with the implementation and configuration of SAP PS structure: WBS, Network, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Material Requirement Planning, Project quotation, Goods issues, and other project management activities in SAP PS
  • Relevant SAP certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Must be eligible to obtain a government Secret clearance
  • Natural born US citizenship
  • You must live local to St. Louis, MO (preferred) or Philadelphia, PA OR be willing to travel to St. Louis or Philadelphia, PA every week Monday-Thursday
