Project Manager - Availity / Software Implementation
Location: Kansas City, Missouri (Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the implementation of a provider portal solution using the Availity platform. This role involves establishing a vendor-provided portal that enables healthcare providers to access insurance-related information. The ideal candidate will have experience managing software implementation projects and will be responsible for stakeholder management, project coordination, and execution oversight.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of a vendor-provided provider portal solution.
  • Manage all phases of the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project alignment.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.
  • Provide strong written and verbal communication to all levels of the organization.
  • Work effectively with distributed teams across multiple time zones, primarily Eastern and Central.
