As an Engineering Manager II on the Cyber Engineering team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the design, build, and deployment of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence-enabled solutions aligned to client requirements and target architecture

The team works across cybersecurity, software engineering, cloud, and artificial intelligence to develop scalable solutions for client needs. Team members help turn emerging technologies into practical delivery assets, platforms, and reusable capabilities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in full stack development across front-end and back-end technologies
  • 1+ years of experience building and deploying generative artificial intelligence or large language model solutions in client or production environments
  • Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and at least one modern front-end framework; and with Node.js, Python, or Java for back-end development
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, REST application programming interfaces, microservices, serverless architectures, and cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience leading code reviews, technical solutioning, demos, proofs of concept, prototypes, effort estimates, and translation of client requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Experience with cybersecurity concepts, including application security, cloud security, identity, or detection engineering
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices and secure software development life cycle
  • Experience with Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Neo4j
  • Experience with Kubernetes, GitOps, or cloud-native design patterns
  • Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud certifications
  • Exposure to TensorFlow or PyTorch

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
