AEITS, a GTSC company, seeks a Software Engineer Level 0.
~~~ This position pending contract award ~~~
Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland area
~~~~ All work is on-site, in-person in a SCIF environment. This is not a hybrid or remote position.
Clearance: Top Secret SCI with appropriate polygraph.
Compensation: $86,500 to $92,800.
Mission Description:
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex software solutions supporting mission-critical systems, large-scale data processing, advanced analytics, and enterprise applications.
  • Analyze user and system requirements to develop software design solutions.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Integrate software into new and existing systems and operating environments.
  • Develop and optimize database interfaces, queries, and data repositories.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and design artifacts.
  • Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver mission-focused solutions.
  • Support software quality assurance, configuration management, and release activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications
  • No prior professional software engineering experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
