Software Development Engineering - Advisor
TITLE: Software Development Engineering - Advisor
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Develop PowerShell and Python scripts as well as build AI automation tools for deployment, monitoring and reporting. Provide 24/7 Level 3 support in the Cards and Payments domain. Create alerting and monitoring reports using Splunk and Dynatrace. Analyze and test network protocols. Assist vendors and gateways when troubleshooting issues and implementing new functionality in production. Provide guidance to new merchants going live with the latest software application. Assign tasks within the team and manage escalations. Assist with training of any new hires, off-shore and on-shore. Implement change records and analyze incident records to provide responses within contractual SLAs. Research and troubleshoot incident records assigned via Service Point, based on priority and severity.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving C#, Java or .NET experience. Prior experience must include: 4 years working with RDBMS, including database administration; 4 years working with SQL Server; 3 years working with RESTful APIs and web services including XML; 3 years working with monitoring tools including Splunk; and 3 years working with PowerShell and Python scripting.
