DUTIES: Lead global engineering organization in building secure, scalable, and innovative financial technology solutions. Define and execute the software development strategy aligned with business goals and long-term vision. Collaborate with executive leadership, product management, and key stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and deliver business value. Oversee the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications and platforms. Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage. Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes. Build and scale high-performing, diverse engineering teams across multiple locations.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 10 years in any job title involving software development experience. Prior experience must include: 10 years of designing, developing and deploying platforms with modern microservices based software architecture including Java, Spring Boot and Websphere; 10 years leading teams in the payment industry; 10 years working in Merchant Payment platforms including credit card, debit card, gift card, prepaid card, ACH and alternate payment flows; 10 years leading, diagnosing and solving production issues for high-throughput merchant payment applications; 10 years working in databases and code integrations including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL; 8 years building Payment User Interface based applications including Hosted Checkout Pages and white-labelled merchant onboarding platforms; 5 years of designing and deploying microservices applications in Tanzu Application Platform and AWS platforms; 5 years leading large-scale software engineering teams and delivering enterprise applications that handle high throughput payment transaction processing; 5 years leading and guiding quality assurance teams for API development using SonarQube, Fortify, WebInspect, Postman and JMeter to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing systems; and 5 years communicating technology details to executive stakeholder and senior client executives.
