The Wonderful Company's in-house advertising agency is seeking a talented and experienced Social Marketing Manager who will support the development of in-platform (social, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.) paid media strategy and be responsible for execution, optimization, and overall campaign management.  

This role requires strong platform knowledge and hands-on experience to help develop strategic and creative recommendations and flawless execution of initiatives to reach brand objectives. The ideal candidate will display confidence when presenting and a collaborative spirit to coordinate across departments/business units. We are looking for someone with a mindset of continuous improvement through testing and learning to ensure continued growth across the company. 

This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Job Description
  • Act as subject matter expert for our social and YouTube paid media campaigns 
  • Support Sr. Digital Marketing Manager in their partnership with the Marketing Team to understand underlying business objectives and set media KPIs 
  • Contribute to brainstorming and cross-department planning 
  • Help develop and execute digital marketing plans for paid social platforms and YouTube 
  • Present plans (when applicable) to internal constituents and the Marketing Team 
  • Manage timelines for planning and coordinate with Marketing, Project Management, Creative, In-House Social Content Team and PR for asset delivery 
  • Communicate any needs with Ad Ops or other specialists (for tagging, optimization set up) 
  • Ensure best practices when building and testing campaigns and assist with analyzing and reporting results 
  • Optimize campaigns and test strategies to drive performance and learnings 
  • Track all spending and validate media partner invoices 
  • Problem solve with our media vendor platforms 
  • Keep the team abreast of changes to social platform offerings and functionality, with a strong eye to how they impact paid/amplification opportunities 
  • Proactively research the latest digital trends that affect digital marketing, attend industry seminars 
  • Actively contribute to the development of the agency's culture and standards of quality 
Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of experience in social marketing, with a proven understanding of how to plan, develop, execute, and optimize paid digital campaigns using social platforms and YouTube 
  • Active usage and native understanding of the mentioned digital platforms 
  • Strong understanding of Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads (video) and social media management platforms like Hootsuite 
  • Experience with campaign builds on other platforms, such as TikTok, Pinterest, and Snap 
  • Familiarity with GA/GTM for campaign optimization/tracking 
  • Prior experience with testing/measurement on the platforms 
  • Data analysis and Excel proficiency a must 
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate and persuasively sell strategic concepts within the agency and directly to clients 
  • Knowledge of organic platforms, especially as they relate to paid amplification 
  • Dependability, flexibility, and resourcefulness 
  • Sense of ownership and responsibility for your brands 
  • Dedication to the details 
  • Passion for continued learning and improvement 
  • Understanding of community management/social listening and aligned tools (e.g. Brandwatch) a plus 
  • Facebook Blueprint and other social certifications a plus 
  • Knowledge of SEM/SEO and Email a plus 
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on Marketing, Communications or Business 

Pay Range: $90,000 - $100,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
