Job Description

Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.

Hello, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, , hallo, vitejte!

Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.

Where and how you can work

Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a hub San Francisco, which is now home to our US operations. We offer flexibility in how and where you work, we trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

What you'd be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Managing campaigns and workflow: running influencer campaigns end to end, tracking deliverables and approvals, flagging and resolving blockers, and keeping activity aligned to North America Influencer Strategy
  • Owning agency relationships: acting as day-to-day contact for influencer agencies, setting clear expectations, and reviewing agency submissions (talent lists, content, reports)
  • Coordinating talent: assessing influencer recommendations for brand fit, and managing creator deliverables and timelines
  • Reviewing content: checking influencer content for brand alignment, accuracy, and quality, and giving agencies and creators clear feedback against brand and legal guidelines
  • Writing briefs: drafting clear, creator-friendly influencer briefs tied to campaign goals
  • Coordinating cross-functionally: fielding requests from brand, social, product, and experiential teams, and keeping stakeholders updated on status and timelines
  • Tracking and reporting: gathering campaign performance data, helping build post-campaign summaries, and maintaining trackers and documentation
  • Handling operations: supporting contracts, ZIPs, and payments, and keeping tools and assets organized

You're probably a match if

  • You have strong organizational and operational skills
  • You have experience working with influencers, agencies, or creator marketing
  • You possess the ability to manage multiple workstreams and timelines simultaneously
  • You are a clear and effective communicator across stakeholders
  • You have strong negotiation techniques & understanding of influencer industry standards (rates, benchmarks, etc.)
  • You have high attention to detail, especially in content review and approvals
  • You are comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments

About the team

Canva's Community Team drives impactful creator & community partnerships that support brand, product, and experiential marketing initiatives.

At a company level, our work ladders into three core ambitions:

  • Get people to think of and use Canva: Build spontaneous awareness and link Canva to key creation and productivity moments
  • Get people to pay for Canva: Grow self-serve, SMB, and enterprise revenue by demonstrating everyday value
  • Get people to irrationally feel for Canva: Create emotional affinity, cultural resonance, and community belonging

The function of the North America Influencer Marketing Manager role is to support the day-to-day execution of influencer marketing programs by partnering cross-functionally with social, brand, product marketing, B2B Enterprise, Education, performance marketing, creative, PR, and experiential teams.

This includes managing campaign workflows, coordinating with agencies and creators, reviewing talent and content, building and refining briefs, and ensuring all deliverables are on time, on brand, and aligned to campaign goals.

The role plays a critical part in bringing campaigns to life by ensuring creator output is high quality, culturally relevant, and operationally seamless-ultimately helping drive awareness, engagement, and affinity for Canva across North America audiences.
