Job description

As a 2027 summer Intern at Riveron, you will gain experience across a breadth of functional and technical areas within our Technology & Innovation practice. In this role, you will support one, or many, concentrations which could include software development, data & analytics, business applications, cloud infrastructure, and technology advisory. Throughout the internship you will get project delivery experience and exposure to consulting firm operations.
During your internship, you will be assigned a Performance Advisor to guide you throughout the program. Our goals are to provide our interns with a strong learning experience, insight into the consulting industry, and an experience of Riveron's culture.
Who You Are:
  • An expected graduation date in 2028 from an accredited university
  • Majoring in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, data analytics, or other related technical field
  • 3.40 GPA or above
  • Successful completion of relevant technical and computing foundations courses
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++)
  • Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software development fundamentals
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office products including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and presenting data
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work in ever-changing, dynamic environments
  • Ability to develop, grow, and sustain internal and client relationships
  • Ability to craft and deliver verbal, written, and oral messages and make recommendations to a variety of audiences, including client leadership and internal teams
  • Desire to get involved in the Riveron culture and internal initiatives, including community service, training, and other social/networking activities

What You'll Do:
  • Contribute to the design, development, and testing of software applications and tools, both for client deployments and internal use at Riveron
  • Research and analyze client technology environments, identifying gaps, pain points, and opportunities across ERP and finance systems
  • Help diagnose and resolve client technical issues, applying functional and technical knowledge to real engagement scenarios
  • Work directly on client-facing deliverables including configuration designs, data mappings, scripts, and documentation, under senior guidance
  • Support business development activities including market research, technical diligence, and proposal development
  • Operate as an integrated member of a multidisciplinary project team, collaborating across functional and technical workstreams
  • Communicate clearly and consistently, keeping your team informed on status, blockers, and progress against project objectives

Interview schedule:
We are excited to announce the interview schedule for our intern candidates. Recruiter screens will be held from August 17 to September 9. Following this, interviews with the Technology & Innovation team will include an interview session from September 17 to September 25, and then final interviews from October 5 to October 16. Additional information about each interview session will be provided as you progress through the selection process.
