Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team. This role specializes in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fire alarm systems in commercial, high rise and residential properties. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Experience with Security Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV systems is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of fire alarm systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions to ensure full functionality and compliance with NFPA 72 and local fire codes.
  • Install and program fire alarm components, including control panels, detectors, strobes, and notification devices.
  • Assist in system upgrades and modifications as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service by educating clients on system functionality and troubleshooting.
  • Work independently or collaboratively with contractors and building management to ensure systems meet safety regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, fire alarm technology, and best practices.
