Job description

Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) is a close-knit campus community operating under the Colorado Community College System (CCCS) — and the team that keeps that mission running needs someone who genuinely cares about getting the details right. If you thrive in a structured environment, enjoy supporting a busy team, and want your work to matter beyond the bottom line, this role at CNCC's Rangely campus is worth your attention.

What You'll Be Doing

Sitting within the Finance and Administration team, this full-time position keeps day-to-day operations on track. You'll work closely with staff and students alike, providing reliable administrative and business support across the campus.

  • Process financial transactions, invoices, and purchasing documentation accurately and on time
  • Maintain organized records and databases in compliance with CCCS system requirements
  • Coordinate scheduling, correspondence, and office workflows for the Finance and Administration team
  • Serve as a first point of contact for internal and external enquiries, directing people to the right resources

What You Bring

  • Experience in an administrative, business support, or office coordination role
  • Strong attention to detail with confident data entry and records management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion
  • Comfort working within the policies and procedures of a state-governed education system

Why CNCC

CNCC serves students across two campuses in a region where community ties run deep. Working here means contributing directly to student success in Rangely — a small town with a close-knit culture where your contributions are visible and valued. As part of the broader CCCS network, CNCC employees access generous state benefits including health coverage, strong retirement contributions, and tuition assistance that supports your own continued learning. The stability of a state institution, paired with the personal scale of a community campus, makes this a genuinely distinctive place to build a career in administration.

Ready to Apply?

Submit your application through the CCCS careers portal. Include a current resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so don't wait to put yours forward.
