Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on slot machines, slot accounting/player tracking equipment, progressive controllers and displays, and bill validators, with an effort to maintain โ€œzero down timeโ€ on the floor.
  • Install new slot machines, slot accounting/player tracking systems, progressive controllers and displays, and bill validators in a timely manner.
  • Move all aforementioned equipment as directed for the reconfiguration of the casino floor to optimize traffic flow and revenue.
  • Convert slot machines from one type and/or denomination to another as directed to optimize slot revenue.
  • Troubleshoot and repair all electronic slot machine assemblies, slot accounting/player tracking system assemblies, and progressive controller and display assemblies to component level using a variety of test equipment (e.g. digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, resource manuals, schematics, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and repair all mechanical and electrical components of slot machines, slot accounting/player tracking equipment, progressive controllers and displays (e.g. bill stackers, slot cabinet components such as door assemblies, door hinges, light assemblies, etc.).
  • Perform component level troubleshooting and repair of all electronic assemblies relating to the Slot Performance department.
  • Determine best course of action for each repair process (e.g. warranty items, in-house repair, or return for repair).
  • Maintain department resource library, and obtain updates on technical support materials, schematics and manufacturer tech bulletins.
  • Work with Slot Services staff to resolve any issues.
  • Attend all mandated training.
  • Adhere to all department and company-wide policies and procedures.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two-year degree in Electronics or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of vast machine manufacturers, progressive/One Link systems and Oasis systems.
  • PC, network, analog and digital communications experience helpful.
  • Experience training adults in a technical environment helpful.
