Job description

The Slot PM Tech is responsible for the cleanliness, preventative maintenance, and minor repair of all slot equipment. This role supports the Slot Performance team by assisting with machine setup, relocation, and basic troubleshooting. The Slot PM Tech ensures a safe, secure, and guestfocused slot floor environment while maintaining compliance with all gaming regulations and internal controls. This position consistently delivers FamilyStyle Service and contributes to a positive, energetic guest experience. 

  • Must be 21 years of age or older upon employment. 

  • High school diploma or GED. 

  • One to two years of slot maintenance, slot floor experience, or related technical experience and training. 

  • Electronics experience and/or degree preferred. 

  • Minimum one year slot maintenance experience preferred. 

  • Ability to work in a smokefilled environment and sit or stand for prolonged periods. 

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the Virginia Lottery Gaming Commission. 

  • Ability to lift, move, and maneuver equipment as required for slot machine maintenance. 

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally. 

  • Ability to work in areas with varying noise, temperature, illumination, vibration, and air quality. 

  • Ability to respond calmly and make sound decisions when required. 

  • Ability to listen and respond to visual and auditory cues. 

    WAGE: $18.00 an hour

  • Demonstrates superior customer service through FamilyStyle Service behaviors, maintaining a positive, friendly, and helpful demeanor. 

  • Greets guests warmly, anticipates needs, provides fast and flawless service, and uses Service Recovery when needed. 

  • Promotes Caesars Rewards, assists with registration, and celebrates guest wins. 

  • Serves as verifier for jackpot payout and creditowed procedures. 

  • Responsible for cleanliness of gaming equipment and performing minor repairs and maintenance. 

  • Performs preventative maintenance on slot equipment as an entrylevel technical function. 

  • Performs minor repairs as directed, including labeling and bundling slot cables. 

  • Assists with initial setup and checkout of new slot machines. 

  • Assists with breaking down, relocating, and setting up slot machines and stands. 

  • Notifies Slot Performance Supervisor and/or Slot Performance Manager of pertinent issues. 

  • Maintains slot floor security by reporting suspicious activity. 

  • Maintains working knowledge of all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls. 

  • Participates in special projects by interpreting gaming documents and gathering necessary materials. 

  • Maintains working knowledge of all games to perform repairs and preventative maintenance.
