Job description

Position Summary

The basic function of the Slot Attendant is to provide prompt, courteous and accurate payouts to the casino guest. The Slot Attendant is responsible for greeting guests, providing information, and assisting customers with the Player’s Club enrollment.

The Slot Attendant is responsible for overseeing the slot activity in a specified area of the casino. The Slot Attendant is also required to solve any concerns regarding the slot machines on the floor. The individual must look for machines that are not working properly and notify the Slot Technician or Casino Shift Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Gaming

  • Must be registered with the Nevada Gaming Control Board
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must obtain an alcohol education training card

Experience

  • Slot Attendant experience is not required, however recommended

Skill, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Able to communicate with the public effectively
  • Strong cash handling skills
  • Ability to quickly and accurately calculate basic subtraction and addition
  • Must be available to and willing to work any and all shifts required
  • Must adhere to all guidelines and policies established in the Employee Handbook
