Job description

Joint Fires Simulation Operator

The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to create a technical synergy that will modernize and create efficiency in the Department of Defense (DoD)? As an integration engineer, you know the importance of ensuring that systems are working to ensure synchronization. You're eager to apply your experience in a unique mission area to develop creative solutions in support of a client.

On our team, you'll design, develop, and implement solutions across functions or between organizations that'll directly impact the client. You will assist in building scenarios and shape training for customers in a virtual environment. You can derive information from complex military operations and apply data to Live, Virtual, and Constructive scenarios to understand system capabilities and limitations.

In this role, you'll impact the client by ensuring integration across the organization. With opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing and collaborating as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:

  • Experience with JTACs, SOF, and Joint Fires

  • Experience assisting in building scenarios and shaping training for customers in the virtual environment, including GRNTS, MACE, MOC-T, VRSG or MVR, or virtual environment applications

  • Knowledge of system capabilities and limitations to keep training within the scope of reality for associated participants and equipment

  • Ability to derive information from complex military CONOPs and apply data to Live, Virtual, or Constructive scenarios

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience as a SOF JTAC-Instructor or SOF JTAC-Evaluator

  • Experience in distributed and Live, Virtual, and Constructive missions across the DoD and multi-national enterprises, utilizing applications and software programs such as MACE, VRSG, GRNTS, and PRINCE systems as part of Air Force program initiatives

  • Knowledge of CAS doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures

  • Ability to brief small and large groups to provide training assessment and feedback

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
