Job Description
The Inova Center for Advanced Medical Simulation (ICAMS), located at Inova Fairfax Hospital, is looking for a dedicated Simulation Technician to join the team! This role will be full-time, day shift opportunity working Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays, 7:00am-3:30pm

Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that simulation equipment is in working order and that routine maintenance is performed according to recommended schedules.
  • Orders, stocks and organize laboratory supplies.
  • Ensures that appropriate vendor relationships are maintained in accordance with Inova Health System policies.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact to faculty during simulation sessions.
  • Serves as a simulation operator by programming, testing and running scenarios with faculty.
  • Obtains, prepares, cleans and replaces all equipment and supplies necessary for each simulation event.
  • Operates basic and networked audio/visual equipment to record and playback scenarios for debriefing, documentation and research purposes.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education - High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience - At least two years of experience in a relevant clinical environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Simulation experience preferred
