We’re looking for a Sign Fabricator who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and taking pride in producing quality craftsmanship. If you’re detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoy building things that last, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
Fabricate custom signs using aluminum, ACM, steel, plastics, acrylic, and other sign materials.
Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and production work orders.
Assemble channel letters, cabinets, monument signs, dimensional letters, and architectural signage.
Operate fabrication equipment including saws, routers, brakes, shears, welders, and power tools.
Measure, cut, drill, route, assemble, and finish materials with precision.
Perform quality inspections to ensure every project meets Hayes Design Co.’s standards.
Work closely with the production manager and installation team to meet production schedules.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Assist with packaging and preparing signs for shipment or installation.
What We’re Looking For
Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred (sign industry experience is a plus).
Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
Ability to use hand tools and fabrication equipment safely.
Able to lift 75+ pounds and work on your feet throughout the day.
Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Welding or electrical experience is a plus but not required.
