Job description

Sign Installer

Job Description:

  • Installation of all types of interior and exterior signs: plaques, dimensional letters and logos, post and panels, electrical signs, large and small vinyl graphics and digital prints.
  • Must be extremely professional and courteous to clients and present the company in a professional manner.
  • Must maintain a high level of quality and craftsmanship and stay on schedule.
  • Prepare written materials for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information.
  • Work will involve travel, some overnights, weekends and after hours installs.
  • Miscellaneous other duties as required.

Technical Skills:

  • Use of mechanical and electrical hand tools.
  • Blueprint reading.
  • Understand general construction concepts and practices.
  • Ability to work at heights, on ladders and in man lifts.
  • Knowledge of protective gear (PPE) use.
  • Capable of heavy lifting and post hole digging
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to measure to the 64th and good math skills
  • MUST be able to interface with customers and clients
  • Must be able to work independently and in teams
  • Possess a valid driversโ€™ license, a good DMV record and proof of insurance
  • Maintain and complete written reports as required
  • Experience with sign manufacturing and construction a plus, but not required
  • Welding steel or aluminum a plus but not required
  • Safety certifications a plus but not required
  • CDL Drivers License a plus but not required
