Job Summary
To help spearhead the development of the organization's brand and level of competitiveness, we're looking to hire a passionate and talented Sales Business Development Manager to develop, maintain, expand the organization's business footprint and brand outreach to clients and strategic partners.
Job Description
  • Proactively work with Operations Management and teams to manage and cultivate relationships with existing and new clients, opportunities, and partners (both domestic and overseas)
  • Generate new, qualified opportunities for the company by means of outside sales activities
  • Consult and present services or opportunities that may be beneficial for clients or partners
  • Responsible for engaging with key accounts and clients regarding pricing, service expectations, and strategic planning
  • Negotiate contracts, agreements, and rates with internal and external clients and vendors
  • Analyze market trends to develop pricing strategies that'll allow the company to make dynamic pricing decisions
  • Manage and update pricing and contracts with existing and new customers
  • Prepare, issue, sign sales contracts and/or agreements
  • Develop and manage new and existing strategic partnerships (truckers, warehouses, overseas partners) to enhance service quality and price competitiveness
  • Manage working relationship with ocean and air carriers
  • Participate in proposing new business verticals and strategies with leadership and management to allow the organization to stay competitive and ahead of the curve
  • Conduct client and prospect meetings (virtual and in-person) to qualify leads, present services, and advance sales opportunities
  • Proactively generate new leads through outbound sales activities, including cold-calling, follow-ups, and pipeline development
  • Reports directly to VP and CEO
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
  • 10+ years in logistics, and/or supply chain
  • 10+ years in B2B sales, business dvelopment, marketing
  • 10+ years in conflict management, business negotiation and development, and cross-functional planning
  • Strong IT and technology fluency
  • Ability to travel domestically and overseas to meet clients and partners to explore new opportunities
  • Proficient in Korean (strongly preferred)
