Job description

Schaffer's Mill, located in Truckee, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Short-Term Rental Assistant! This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has an excellent memory, and is highly organized and efficient. The ideal candidate will help ensure smooth property management operations, guest coordination, and administrative tasks.
Pay Rate: $25-$30/hr
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of short-term rental properties
  • Coordinate guest communications, check-ins, and check-outs
  • Manage calendars, reservations, and scheduling tasks
  • Monitor property readiness and coordinate with cleaning and maintenance teams
  • Maintain organized records and property information
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and operational needs
  • Assist with listing updates and property management software tasks

Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent memory and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using computers and software; no training will be provided for basic computer functions
  • Previous property management or short-term rental experience preferred
  • Escapia experience is a plus
