Chipton-Ross is seeking a Shipyard Coordinator for a contract opportunity in Green Bay, WI.
This position is 100% onsite.
The Shipyard Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations across our office and the shipyard. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
Prior experience in the trades, shipyard operations, maritime industry, or related field preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of maritime safety regulations and practices
Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate with management and the shipyard to ensure activities remain on schedule
Meet with welders to ensure they are fully prepared for testing
Facilitate onboarding for employees
Coordinate with shipyard management
Ensure that all operations occur smoothly and effectively
Communicate any issues with management
Maintain accurate documentation of project status, materials, and labor hours
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the shipyard
Recruit new candidates for shipyard positions
Monitor status of candidates in the pipelines
Address operational issues promptly and implement effective solutions
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Accredited HSD/GED (Associate's degree or technical certification a plus)
WORK HOURS
Full-time
May include some weekend availability as needed
