Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
1+ years of experience with shipping or receiving responsibilities in a Manufacturing environment.
Experience with SAP system
Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED
3+ years' experience in shipping/receiving management
Proficient with MS Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
Technical training in area of responsibility
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing logistics operations, including ground, air, and sea shipments, ensuring timely departures, clear communication with customers, and resolving complex export issues and claims.
Create shipping documents such as BOL's, Packing Lists, and others using SAP, maintaining accuracy and database integrity.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and monthly reports to optimize shipment volume, profitability, and overall operational efficiency.
Perform job duties using the 6's methodology, driving continuous improvements in the area and maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
Work independently with little guidance; maintain strong attention to detail under deadlines; uphold all safety rules and developed processes.
Demonstrate a positive attitude, collaborate effectively, accept and implement constructive criticism, and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
