Our Shipping/Receiving associates verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products. Must take necessary action to minimize delay time and maximize production.


What You'll Do:

  1. Perform shipping and receiving duties.
  2. Support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
  3. Responsible to make arrangements for pick-up by the carrier specified on the customer’s purchase order which is conveyed to the shipping clerk by final inspection via the shipping instructions.
  4. Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. 
  5. Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
  6. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
  7. Additional duties as directed by supervisor.

  • 6+ months of experience in shipping/receiving
  • Working knowledge of forklift operations
  • Ability to lift/handle heavy objects frequently.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours.

  • Maintain a good attendance record, follow all company safety policies, and keep work environment clean.
