Primary Job Title:
Shipping and Crating Specialist

Location:
Cedar Hill, TX

Shift: 8am to 4:30pm M-F

Job Summary:
Join our sign manufacturing company in Cedar Hill as a Crater/Shipping Department Associate. In this role, you'll play a vital part in preparing signs for shipment by constructing durable crates and managing shipping tasks. If you have carpentry skills, a strong attention to detail, and experience operating tools, this position is a great fit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build crates to ensure signs are securely prepared for shipment.
  • Use carpentry skills to measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision.
  • Operate a variety of tools, including saws, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Read and interpret tape measurements accurately.
  • Support overall shipping operations as needed.
Required Experience:
  • Proven carpentry or woodworking experience.
  • Experience in operating hand tools and power tools in a professional setting.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • Previous experience in a shipping or crating role.
  • Forklift certification or experience is a plus.
Required Skills:
  1. Ability to read and work with tape measurements accurately.
  2. Proficiency in handling and operating saws and carpentry tools.
