Job description

Starting Hourly Rate - $10/Hour

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5pm

RECEIVER - A merchandiser receiver handles and processes stock in a warehouse or retail environment, their primary duty is to maintain an efficient flow of merchandise, which might involve documenting, storing, locating and distributing stock within a store or warehouse, depending on the specific needs of the employer.

ORDER SELECTOR - Manages to pick ticket orders. Pulls warehouse items from the shelves based on the number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements. Ensures that orders are accurate. Stages items correctly for delivery.

INVENTORY CONTROL - Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems. Records purchases, maintains the database, performs a physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.

LOADER (SHIPPER) - Typical duties: loads freight both manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; checks for damaged goods; verifies quantity and quality of order; verifies items shipped with purchase order; wraps, packages, and ensures that all shipping documents are accurate and included with shipments.

SHIPPING/RECEIVING SUPERVISOR -  Essential duties of a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor are verifying shipment documents, determining shipping priorities, assigning work, developing shipping procedures, determining storage space requirements, supervising loading and unloading operations, and updating records.

ALL DISTRIBUTION ASSOCIATES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ADHERING TO ALL SAFETY AND HOUSEKEEPING PROCESSES AND PROCEDURES ADMINISTERED BY LOUISIANA FISH FRY PRODUCTS.
