This role is based on-site at our Injection Works site/Nelson Miller Group facility in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.


Responsibilities


Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Shipping Associate II maintains and operates the shipping department to effectively and efficiently support the manufacturing and delivery of product for our customers. Arrive on time daily and comply with company policy concerning attendance.

  • Set up shipping department and coordinate for daily activities.
  • Coordinate shipments for each day. Shipments for the current day must be shipped before the end of the day and not carry into the next day.
  • Coordinate with office personnel for proper invoicing and provide packing receipts to Accounting.
  • Prepare proper shipping paperwork.
  • Keep inventory of shipping supplies and reorder supplies as required.
  • Maintain good communications with the Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager, and other department leadership.
  • Complete all required timesheets, work orders, and sales orders daily.
  • Assist Material Handling as needed or assigned.
  • Act as backup to Material Handling as needed.
  • Maintain ITAR requirements as instructed.
  • Responsible for knowledge and adheres to all ERP procedures regarding shipping and packaging.
  • Responsible for knowledge and adheres to, and promotion of, quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Responsible for adherence to and promotion of maximum safety standards.
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. 

Requirements


  Experience: Warehousing and inventory control with knowledge of hand truck operation. Forklift and pallet jack operation is a plus.

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Independence: Capable of working independently under standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Safety & Quality Focus: A strong commitment to adhering to and promoting maximum safety standards, quality policies, procedures, work instructions, ISO9000 standards, and ITAR regulations.
  • Physical Requirements: Capable of frequent lifting, bending, stooping, standing, and reaching. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Due to ITAR and / or CUI compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3).

Compensation and Benefits:


Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour (Pay to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data).
