Job description

Why Join Mississippi Auto Direct?
Are you tired of the same old 9-to-5? Do you have a "people person" personality and a high energy level? At Mississippi Auto Direct, we don't just sell cars; we build relationships. We are a family-oriented dealership looking for motivated individuals to join our growing team.
No automotive experience? No problem. We provide the training, the tools, and the mentorship you need to turn your communication skills into a high-paying career.
What We Offer (Industry-Leading Benefits):
We value our employees and provide a comprehensive benefits package to ensure you and your family are taken care of:
  • Health & Wellness: Major Medical and Health Insurance through Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
  • Financial Security: 401k & ROTH retirement plans.
  • Full Coverage: Access to Dental and Vision insurance as well as supplemental insurance through Aflac.
  • Work-Life Balance: Paid Holidays, PTO, and a Paid Vacation schedule that grows with your tenure.
  • Perks: Employee discounts on vehicle purchases.

No Car Experience? That's Our Specialty!
We find that the most successful members of our team often come from high-energy, customer-facing roles rather than traditional sales. If you can thrive during a busy Friday night shift or manage a retail floor, you have the exact stamina we are looking for.
We've seen incredible success from people transitioning out of:
  • Hospitality & Food Service: (Waiters, Waitresses, Bartenders, and Servers)
  • Retail & Management: (Store Leads, Key Holders, and Customer Service Reps)
  • Healthcare & Education: (CNA's, Caregivers, and Teachers looking for a change)
  • Military & First Responders: (Veterans and those with a disciplined work ethic)

What You'll Do (The Role):
As a Sales Associate, you are the face of our dealership. You will guide customers through one of the biggest purchases of their lives using a consultative, low-pressure approach.
  • Build Relationships: Nurture clientele for life through consistent follow-up and "WOW" customer service.
  • Digital Communication: Engage with customers where they are-effectively using email, text, Facebook, and Instagram to showcase our inventory.
  • Expert Guidance: Listen to customer needs and assist them in selecting the perfect vehicle.
  • Product Knowledge: Become a "Vehicle Authority" by staying up-to-date on the latest automotive technology and features.
  • Demonstrations: Perform professional vehicle walk-arounds and test drives.

Who You Are (Requirements):
  • The Personality: You have a "people-first" attitude. If you've spent years "reading the room" in hospitality or retail, you'll be a natural here.
  • The Communicator: You are comfortable talking to strangers and can build rapport quickly over the phone, in person, or via text.
  • The Tech-Savvy Seller: You know your way around a smartphone and social media (Facebook/Instagram) to help promote yourself and our inventory.
  • The Professional: You are coachable, show up on time, and are ready to win.
  • The Essentials: Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Ready to start your new career?
Apply today to join the Mississippi Auto Direct family! We are an equal-opportunity employer and look forward to meeting our next top performer.
