Work Environment

This position offers a flexible remote work setting that facilitates a healthy work-life balance. Our team operates within a community health clinic model, focusing on providing comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations through telehealth and in-person sessions. With regular hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., you can enjoy predictable scheduling while making a tangible difference in the community’s mental health landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess mental health diagnoses, effectively develop tailored treatment plans, and track client progress through ongoing documentation, including diagnosis updates, treatment reviews, and detailed case notes in line with company policy.
  • Manage a high-volume caseload of 25-30 clients per week, delivering individual, couple, and family therapy sessions with an emphasis on achieving specific therapy goals.
  • Provide superb customer service to all clients, promoting positive engagement and collaboration with a dynamic team to effectively close mental health service gaps in the community.
  • Employ creative therapeutic interventions during sessions to help clients set and exceed personal goals, fostering their empowerment and resilience.
  • Coordinate care with a variety of stakeholders, including case managers, families, healthcare providers, and educational staff, ensuring holistic support for clients’ mental health needs.
  • Maintain rigorous adherence to session documentation under company guidelines, ensuring compliance and quality assurance at every step.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field is required.
  • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential for this role.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of family therapy services and community mental health resources is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with mental health documentation, including developing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and comprehensive case notes.
  • Experience working with diverse client groups, including children, adolescents, couples, and families, is highly valued.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills essential for effective client interaction.
  • Ability to model and uphold stable, appropriate boundaries with clients during therapeutic interactions.
  • Must successfully pass a background check to protect client privacy and safety.

  • A broad exposure to and comfort with collecting fees at the time of service, as well as managing administrative aspects of therapy, is beneficial.
