Job description

We are currently seeking a self-motivated and dedicated individual to join our Cloud Services Department. This role will require deep technical knowledge of the Microsoft Cloud stack. The responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting in architecting and developing migration plans, creatively building solutions that are technically sound, performing engineering tasks for the delivery of solutions and migrations, developing documentation for the handoff to support, and serving as a point of escalation for Microsoft 365 related efforts. As a large portion of this role is client facing, strong interpersonal skills are mandatory. The qualified individual will possess superior customer service skills, the ability to multi-task effectively and manage multithreaded project efforts, and the aptitude to work independently while generating a high quality work product. While a majority of work can be performed remotely, occasional onsite service for clients may be required.

Essential Functions

  • Respond to requests from clients for technical assistance via phone and remote support tools
  • Assist in client-facing discovery and scoping efforts
  • Develop migration plans taking into account the client’s timeline and requirements
  • Perform engineering tasks as part of authorized migration plans
  • Assist in troubleshooting of on-prem and cloud configurations
  • Serve as a point of escalation for the company’s internal NOC department for cloud-related issues
  • Achieve daily utilization goals
  • Participate in on-call rotation schedule
  • Remain up to date on the changing technical landscape of the Microsoft cloud stack

Experience Required

  • 3+ years of work experience focused on the Microsoft cloud stack
  • Degree in computer and information systems or equivalent work experience
  • Preferred certifications: MS-102 and AZ-104
  • Experience with: Exchange Online, Azure, Azure Active Directory, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Azure Active Directory Connect, ADFS, and migrations or hybrid configurations for all of the above environments
  • The ability to troubleshoot and remediate cloud-related issues for Windows operating systems, Windows Server, and Microsoft Exchange Server
  • Working knowledge of networking and DNS principles involving the Microsoft cloud stack
  • Ability to provide end-user desktop support of Microsoft 365 applications
  • Hands-on experience with migration planning and remediation
  • Proven ability to be detail-oriented and manage time effectively
  • High level of communication and collaboration skills with peers and stakeholders
