Position Overview

Oneida Network Infrastructure is seeking a SharePoint Administrator (Subject Matter Expert) to support AFWERX and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in a remote capacity. This role serves as a critical backfill for a Cloud Systems Administrator and focuses on administration, optimization, and governance of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, with an emphasis on SharePoint Online, the Power Platform, and enterprise collaboration tools.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in SharePoint administration, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience supporting mission-driven environments within the Department of Defense (DoD) or federal space.


Key Responsibilities

SharePoint Administration & Site Management

  • Create, configure, maintain, and decommission SharePoint sites and site collections
  • Manage site architecture, content organization, and lifecycle governance

Permissions & Security

  • Administer user access, permissions, and security groups
  • Configure internal and external sharing settings in alignment with organizational policies
  • Ensure secure collaboration across Microsoft 365 environments

System Maintenance & Performance

  • Monitor SharePoint Online service health and performance
  • Perform platform updates, patching, and optimization
  • Ensure overall system reliability and availability

User Support & Troubleshooting

  • Serve as escalation point for complex user issues (e.g., permissions errors, broken links, workflow failures)
  • Provide timely resolution to maintain productivity and user satisfaction

Governance, Compliance & Auditing

  • Enforce governance policies and best practices
  • Monitor audit logs, storage utilization, and system usage
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and federal standards

Microsoft 365 & Power Platform Integration

  • Support integration with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and other M365 services
  • Develop and maintain automation using PowerShell
  • Design and enhance workflows using Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Support reporting and analytics using Power BI

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements
  • Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement of collaboration and workflow processes

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in SharePoint administration (SharePoint Online preferred)
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation
  • Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering OR one of the following certifications: Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting AFWERX, AFRL, or other DoD organizations
  • Experience in Cloud Systems Administration or SME-level roles
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks and compliance standards in federal environments
  • Experience working in Agile or DevSecOps environments
