Position Summary
As an Enterprise Solutions SharePoint Engineer, you will design, configure, and support modern SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions that help business partners collaborate, manage content, and improve business processes.
In this role, you will translate business needs into secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions using tools such as SharePoint, Power Automate, and other Power Platform and M365 tools.
You will partner with business and technology teams to deliver sites, workflows, and related solutions while also contributing to governance, adoption, continuous improvement, and evaluation of new platform capabilities.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Provides guidance, training, and documentation for site owners and business users to promote adoption, best practices, and effective use of modern Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, with a focus on SharePoint and Power Automate.
  • Designs secure collaboration solutions aligned with organizational governance, sensitivity labeling, records retention, and information protection requirements.
  • Develops scalable information architecture, metadata, content types, page layouts, and content standards that improve searchability, discoverability, and consistency across SharePoint sites.
  • Partners with business stakeholders to understand collaboration, content management, and process needs and translate them into scalable SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Leads or supports solution delivery activities including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and post-deployment support.
  • Designs and maintains modern SharePoint sites, pages, navigation, libraries, lists, and related components that improve usability, consistency, and business value. Provides operational support and troubleshooting of existing sites and solutions.
  • Develops and supports solutions using SharePoint, Power Automate, and other M365 tools to streamline business processes, improve user experience, and reduce manual effort.
  • Establishes and supports governance practices including site ownership, hub structure, permissions, provisioning standards, lifecycle management and retention controls.
  • Evaluates platform capabilities, recommends out-of-the-box and low-code options, and helps business partners balance immediate needs with long-term supportability and governance.
  • Consults with peers and technical teams across the organization to share knowledge, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Remains current on Microsoft 365 and SharePoint enhancements, evaluates new features for business applicability, and recommends changes that improve efficiency, governance, and user experience.
  • Supports content quality and structure practices that improve discoverability and readiness for AI-enabled Microsoft 365 experiences.
  • Supports evaluation and organizational readiness for future adoption of SharePoint agents and Copilot Studio agents as these capabilities become part of the Microsoft 365 solutions roadmap.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience designing, configuring, and supporting modern SharePoint solutions for business users.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration capabilities and related tools such as SharePoint, Power Automate, Teams integration, and Microsoft 365 governance features.
  • Working knowledge of information architecture, metadata, permissions, site structure, navigation, and content management best practices.
  • Experience analyzing business needs and translating requirements into secure, supportable, and user-friendly solutions.
  • Strong communication and consulting skills, with the ability to build relationships, conduct needs assessments, and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project coordination skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new platform capabilities, evaluate their business value, and apply best practices that improve governance, usability, and adoption.
  • Awareness of emerging agent-based solutions in Microsoft 365, with the ability to evaluate and support future adoption of tools such as SharePoint agents and Copilot Studio agents.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preferred experience with SharePoint governance, site lifecycle management, records retention, accessibility design, and user adoption practices in a Microsoft 365 environment.

#LI-Hybrid **This position will have a hybrid working arrangement, working in-office for a minimum of 3 days a week.**
