Open to nationwide candidates. (Must be willing to be onsite to Columbia, SC once per month and work EST hours).

Project Scope: Seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator/Developer to design, develop, administer, and support modern SharePoint Online solutions within a Microsoft 365 environment. The consultant will be responsible for architecting scalable SharePoint sites, implementing governance standards, developing custom solutions using SPFx, React, and TypeScript, and leveraging Power Platform technologies to automate business processes. The role will focus on improving collaboration, document management, workflow automation, system integrations, security, and user adoption across multiple departments.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience translating business requirements into sustainable SharePoint solutions while ensuring compliance, maintainability, and long-term platform support. Key Responsibilities: SharePoint Administration & Architecture Design and manage SharePoint Online environments, including sites, hubs, libraries, and content structures. Develop hub-and-spoke intranet architectures and site provisioning strategies.

Configure and manage metadata, content types, document libraries, and document management solutions. Establish governance standards, permissions, site ownership models, and lifecycle management processes. SharePoint Development Develop and maintain custom SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solutions.

Build reusable web parts and components using React and TypeScript. Package, deploy, and version SharePoint applications and customizations. Ensure solutions follow best practices for scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Power Platform Solutions Design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate. Develop business applications using Power Apps. Analyze business processes and recommend automation opportunities.

Replace manual processes with efficient digital solutions. Integration & API Development Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and external systems. Develop integrations using REST APIs and Microsoft Graph.

Support enterprise data flow and cross-platform collaboration solutions. Troubleshoot and maintain existing integrations. Business Process Improvement Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
