Description
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with strong experience in SharePoint to be the primary technology liaison and strategic advisor for our customer onsite. The architect will provide technical leadership across projects involving Microsoft technologies and ensure solutions are aligned with business goals. This is a client-facing role that requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and technical acumen.
The candidate should be a highly skilled and experienced SharePoint Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade SharePoint solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SharePoint Online and On-Premises, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, particularly Logic Apps, Azure Runbooks, and PnP PowerShell. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on development skills and a passion for automation and modern workplace solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the go-to person and trusted advisor for the customer on all technology matters.
  • Define and own solution architecture across projects involving .NET, SharePoint, Sitecore, React, and Azure Cloud.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders, project managers, developers, and QA teams.
  • Provide architectural guidance during solution design, development, and deployment.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and cloud governance.
  • Lead technical discussions, solution reviews, and architecture walkthroughs.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and offer proactive recommendations.
  • Assist in RFP/RFI responses and proposal preparations as needed.
  • Mentor and guide development teams both onsite and offshore (if applicable).

SharePoint Specific:
  • Architect and implement scalable SharePoint solutions (Online and On-Premises) tailored to business needs.
  • Design and automate business processes using Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Azure Runbooks.
  • Develop and maintain custom SharePoint components using PnP PowerShell, SPFx, and CSOM/JSOM.
  • Lead SharePoint migrations, upgrades, and integrations with other Microsoft 365 services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Establish governance, best practices, and security standards for SharePoint environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex SharePoint and automation issues.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across projects.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core).
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint (Online and/or On-Premises).
  • Experience with Sitecore CMS design and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience in designing solutions using microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience in Database such as SQL Server, CosmosDb.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure DevOps, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Automation (Runbooks), and Microsoft Graph API).
  • Strong expertise in PnP PowerShell, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and REST APIs.
  • Deep understanding of SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2013/2016/2019, and hybrid configurations.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for SharePoint and Azure deployments.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and security practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-600, AZ-204, MS-700).
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certifications.
