Job description

Hoover Architectural Solutions (formerly Arconic Architectural Products) located in Eastman, GA is hiring for day-shift and night-shift machine operator positions. Pay starts at $17.16/hour plus additional shift differential pay for night-shift employees. HAS produces an aluminum composite material known as Reynobond.
The primary function of a machine operator is to produce a quality finished product. Functions include:
  • Counts and measures product to be packed for customer order compliance.
  • Visual inspection of product for defects / tickets for errors.
  • Loads and unloads finished/packaged product via mobile equipment (ride on, walk behind, and overhead crane).
  • Assist team with core composition changeovers.
  • Assist with product setups.
  • Ability to read and understand terminology on required paperwork.
  • Completes checklists, reports and logs as needed.
  • Adheres to housekeeping requirements for work area.
  • Ability to make verbal or written suggestions/recommendations to management for improvements in work methods and/or safety procedures as needed.
  • Adheres to AAP policy and safety rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Understands Teamwork Concept (Group of employees with a common goal/goals and ownership of shared responsibility to achieve set goal/goals)
  • Training includes procedures, instructions, on the job training and shadowing incumbent operators.
Required Skill and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least one-year prior work experience.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Willingness to work in a team-environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Basic Computer skills, Microsoft Office.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
