Role description:
We are looking for an individual with ability to manage the production of design team deliverables SD - CA, lead/participate with the design team (including GEC members) in developing contract deliverables, lead interdisciplinary technical coordination meetings, lead/participate in BIM coordination meetings, lead/participate in SFMTA stakeholder technical group meetings, maintain and manage Constructability Review comment logs, produce meeting agendas, meeting minutes and participate as needed in internal Arcadis financial reporting meetings with Senior PM/ Executive leadership team.
Role accountabilities:
  • Lead Design Development: Oversee construction phase services of architectural design for the bus maintenance and repair building, ensuring functionality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Technical Oversight: Ensure compliance with building codes, transportation regulations, and sustainability standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Construction Support: Provide guidance during construction, addressing RFIs and site issues as they arise.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Professional degree in Architecture; US licensure required.
  • Minimum 12 years' experience, preferably with industrial, transit, or public infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, large-scale facility projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, industrial workflows, and maintenance facility requirements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $112,000- $ 168,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
