Senior Settlement Specialist - Second Shift
About your role:
As a Senior Settlement Analyst, you will monitor and balance electronic federal tax payment processing activity, settle funds with clients and governing organizations, and help control company exposure to financial liability. You will work closely with a small operations team and partner with internal and external stakeholders across shifts to support accurate processing, resolve issues, and maintain continuity throughout the production day.
What you'll do:
  • Monitor and balance Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS) processing activity to support accurate settlement and reconciliation outcomes.
  • Reconcile EFTPS processing and trading partner file activity to confirm expected results and identify exceptions requiring action.
  • Research production issues, client inquiries, and transaction variances, then provide timely resolution or escalate as needed.
  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues and support uninterrupted processing across shift transitions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for internal and client questions related to settlement activity, reconciliation results, and production support.
  • Identify program-impacting events, assess operational risk, and take action to reduce exposure and maintain processing integrity.
  • Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.

Experience you'll need to have:
  • 4+ years of experience in customer service or client support roles.
  • 3+ years of experience researching transaction activity, analyzing variances, and resolving operational or client issues in a production environment.
  • Experience communicating technical or operational issues to business and technical audiences through documented findings, issue updates, or resolution steps.
  • High school diploma.

Experience that would be great to have:
  • Experience supporting electronic payments, funds settlement, or tax payment processing operations.
  • Experience working with trading partner files, production controls, or daily balancing procedures.
  • Experience serving as a point of contact for client issue resolution or operational escalations.
  • Familiarity with risk controls related to payment processing and financial exposure management.
  • Experience working independently in a production environment with assigned deadlines, shifting priorities, and handoffs across multiple shifts.
  • Associate's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.

How you'll work:
  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday in Greenwood Village, CO. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
  • You will work an assigned schedule of Monday through Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm MT.

Salary Range
$40,000.00 - $66,700.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
This position is not eligible for an annual incentive opportunity and is also not eligible to earn commissions.
